Everything is better when cleaning WFP with hot water,if someone was to ask my advise as a newbie to WFP i would say get a hot system first off don`t waste your time with cold.I`ve had to use cold these last couple of days and i`ve hated it to be honest,it gets rid of snail trails with 1 pass over them it removes grass cuttings that have blown up onto the glass easily bird mess is no longer a problem your hardly need to rinse. The list goes on and on and you end up using less water aswell, windows that give problems with cold don`t with hot.

I cant afford it this winter but i def want it eventually... im scared of cracking glass..... thats my only fear.... but i believe , set at the right temp.. well, ive read on here that it is ok...

can i ask what is a safe temperature...? as it needs to be hot enough to clean the bird poo, and the like... but not too hot so the glass will break...

im babbling a bit lol.... i dont recall seeing one post , about anyone breaking glass.  ;D ;D ;) ::)

Nothing makes up for not using wfp inproperly.

If you get spots and especially streaks you are not doing it properly in the first place. Hot will just make it easier to get grime, bird poo etc off faster!

I actually don`t agree with you,i reckon if you gave a bloke a hot system that dosen`t really give to much of a toss what kind of job he`s doing he would still do a good job or far far better than he would with cold, cold water dosen`t blitz through the dirt like hot does with hot a couple of brushes and the windows clean it`s no effort at all.I used cold today and i had to scrub and scrub it would have been quicker to trad some of the bottoms with them being so dirty in the cold weather like it was today.

i dont normally have to do recleans,i have told all my customers to just call me and i will do a reclean for nothing, but this is 1st time its happened in a while, but will see what mess i have made when i get there, its just most work i buy now is all traditional so need to change over so if i will get less hassle with doing it hot i might just go for it,what sites sell the hot set up ??

You mean some ppl seriously still use cold water??? :O

:)

Hot is fantastic, and not just for first cleans. It doesn't matter if you go brand name or DIY,.. its money well spent and you will not regret it.
