« on: December 04, 2008, 07:53:08 pm »
My CFR  handtool as sprang a leak,on closer inspection it's leaking from male part of the valve thats located in the vac hose.I was told to lubricate it often, obviously I havn't been lubricating it enough and its worn. Can anyone tell me if you can get these small valves from any dealer or will I have to get one from a CFR dealer.
                                  regards Jeff

This coupling is smaller than normal but A&M also sell these parts for CFR.

Although this is a great tool the way its made is rubbish and that vac hose is crap.

Mine used to go in the same place, the male wears down as it's brass with all of the turning it does. I had my local hydraulics place put their own version on made of stainless steel and 2 years on no problems I had in 2 years ish had 3 brass connectors.
