« on: December 04, 2008, 04:47:06 pm »
Im after a new 15ft pole.
Ive had an exel  and found it to be utter rubbish ,only had it three months in the second week one of the clamps came off the pole and end cap came off ! then split so is now in the bin.
Then had an unger and it was just as bad , i have been looking at the brodex prolong as i like the idea of the aluminium but are they not cold on the hands ???
I only where gloves when i need too and was wondering what the aluminium was like??
Im looking to spend around £100 quid
Any advise guys ??
Im not looking for anything bigger than 15ft really i will be using it for bottoms so so need it to colapse as small as poss

I quite like the Ionics 18 foot, multipole I think its called. I find their longer poles too heavy, but the 18 is quite light and really rigid, tis about £100 I think.

It`s just a extender only in yellow exclusive to them in that colour, the 12ft extender is the best in the range i found.I cut a carbon pole down to 5ft closed and it extends to 21ft or 24ft reach from the hip which all poles are measured.

window wonder when you say exel, do you mean xtel. Cos i have an excel pole from gardiners, when they were the rage.
I would recommend either xtel or extender poles in that length.

Zensorflex; and for £20 it's a bargin.  Try it, you'll love it.

I've been using Zensorflex for last 2 weeks. Also a Gangster for higher jobs. Brill.  Harris are good as well but not so light. Been using all of them with the original supalite double trim.
