I think our market place is getting bigger. And this is due to advances in  equipment plus the huge drop in price of this equipment.
It is easier for us to branch out now, with cladding, exterior cleans etc. Not to mention how much easier it is now to clean gutters, and con roofs.

I dont know the answer to these questions. Who would?
  My perception is that there are more new start ups at this time of year than I have ever seen before, but only in certain target areas. Given job losses in the building trade I guess this is the reason.
Numerous people still come up and ask me if I do domestics, if they are visiting towns, and tell me that they cant get a WC for love nor money, one old girl paraded me to her neighbours saying look Ive got a window cleaner, Did well that day!
So its probably only reached, or is reaching ,saturation point  in towns and cities.
What do you think?

I never used to notice window cleaners around until I became one and they started using those big sticks with brushes on
