Water use and stuff.
« on: November 28, 2008, 08:29:45 am »
I know a bloke who's tank is half the size of mine, does ups and downs (I only do the ups) and does more work than me.

I regularly have to say No to his customers asking me to do their windows (because I know him). Anyway, I said yes to one of them the other day and the customer was moaning that he always leaves runs etc. I could see straight away that he wasn't rinsing enough, you could see dirt runs and blobs of dried dirt.

You need to use enough water guys! If you can't do it justice with the amount you carry, just do the ups! Especially with all the new start up with ladders we may see over the next year. You need to do a better than trad job.

On another note, I've been kept awake worrying that some of the less reputable of us may use the recession as an excuse for our profits to catastrophically colapse when filling our tax returns in. Please put my mind at rest and tell me this wont happen! ;D
