Looking at getting a berlingo, anyone got one here? and if so could i have some reviews it would help a lot Thanks Rob.

I've got a 54 plate one. 1000 times better than the escourt van I had before, this van drives so much better.
The one thing for me is that it is not big enough. I carry 250lts and have to re-fill mid-morning. but other than that fantastic work van

I don`t think theres too much difference in the small vans ie Berlingo,Kangoo,Doblo,caddy,combo etc etc,as long as it`s got a decent payload,
i have a 51 plate Kangoo with a 800kg payload and it`s great

i had a partner, same thing really, was a 1998, 1.9d, great little van, ive still got it, would never get rid of it

mine had the 800kg payload, used to carry loads in mine

only time i upgraded was when i needed more water and for 2 of us was a bit of a squeeze

400l system, this was a old setup i had, didnt take any of it when it had the proper 2 man setup. it did work a treat tho

My sister in law has got a Berlingo car and she loves it and its 100% reliable

i have a berlingo multispace ( its the van / car job , it has 3 rear seats that fold into themselves and the footwell ), i end up with the same space as the van in the rear, the plus side is for me, it has windows in the rear, has side sliding doors and its a car for when i travel over the 7 bridge

have a look at them on ebay, the multispaces seem to go for less money than the vans, which is strange

only downside is some1 said it doesnt have the FULL payload of the VAN ( i guess the suspension is less on the multispace )

  I have an 08 Berlingo, I like it alot, use it instead of the car when I go out on my own.

 I have a 500 ltr tank in mine, I know I am pushing the limit, but only in the mornings!

I have an 08 Peugot Partner (same van different badge) and its great, really pleased with it.

looked at berlingo kangoo and the partner, went with the partner much more realiable and better build quality, kangoo berlingo lots and lots of knackered vans being sold for parts as a result of head gaskets blown cambelts gone ect really pleased with my partner

They've got the same engine.

I bought a Partner with a hole in the piston made by the valves when the cambelt went.

Indeed, that's one of the most important things. If you buy a second hand, and you don't know when it has been changed (or at all) get it changed as a precaution. A missed oil change isn't necessarily going to wreck the engine, a missed cambelt change will.

There is a new berlingo van, also comes with an extended length, looks altogether bigger and higher. The berlingo has uprated long teavel struts and shocks, g38 for rough ground.lanes.

had peugot partner van found clutch to be heavy & used a lot of fuel, if you had a heavy fight foot, prefeer my ford tran connect, defo a better van, sold partner & got another connect

Must have been something wrong with it. The best thing about the Berlingo/Partner is the economy.
