just starting out

hello i have just started out window cleaning just a couple of questions how to charge per property and safest way to collect payments if you have to call back in the evening.
i am going to be using ladders but i have got the pole system for higher reaches.

mmm.. people might say use the search buton.

Well, collecting payments use a SAE leave when you have done the propery with a note like "cleaned windows today sorry you were out"

Most custies will send payment via cheque.

Or you could use NO CHEX, online payment system.

Collect on next visit, or yes collecting in the evening when they are back from work.

Hi when you first start, if this is your only source of income. You may not want to wait for 2-3wks for payment by sae. When I started we called back for payment, one in the hand is better than one owing.

But as you grow and do more work it is easier to leave a sae. As you can spend ages out collecting and they may still not be in. Some ring the night before and arrange for money to be left in a secret place.
