scracths glass

has anybody tried removing fine hairline scratches from glass and what did there use
any help would be appreciated

I have a multi speed buffer/polisher made by Flex ,for deep scratches we use 3m trizact discs  they come in 3 grades course, medium and  fine . to finish  use a felt pad on buffer adding cerium oxide glass polishing compound this is a cream .
 Cerium oxide on felt pad will remove light scratching on glass
