Dont you ever get customers who say to you " my sister/Brother/Mother/Friend etc lives in ? and cant get a window cleaner" when they say this to me I always say to them that if they need a W/C I could probably get one for them, ive been going since May and this has happened to me 5 times so surely it happens to others, just come on here and im sure you could find a W/C for them and also help a fellow W/C.

Wheres the furthest you have got someone a job, i once got someone a job in Leicester 300 miles from where i live.

LWC got me one in Newquay, dont know where he lives but i know its at least 150 miles

That happens to me alot (most recent request was in Glasgow - I'm in Oxford!!!) I asked if the mods could put a permanent thread or category up for this sort of thing but as usual they ignored me  lol.

Why do you need it permanent ? If we have too many stickys they tend to get in the way, it is quite annoying having to scroll past the stickys on some forums and can be quite off putting.



I put all my requests up straight away.

As usual ? Whats usual about that, how many times have i ignored you, maybe i am not perfect, i remember your post, but "forgot" to reply n not ignored, some days we have dozens of complaints and we still have to work. So occassionally a post gets forgotten.

this is a good idea. ( ian Lancaster posted one yesterday, well helpful ) . In the summer (aaaaghhh warmth!) we often get relatives staying with custies who have neever seen the pole.
Also an idea I had on another forum ( with zilch response ): howse about working the odd day in the year with a local from the forum so you get to know them, you then have someone you can trust to help when too much work comes in & also where each others work is so you don't flyer there but you can also swop work to consolidate your round.
Could even arrange to work with a wfp for a day on your hols: missis gets to shop in peace & you can earn & learn from a forumite. ( slap up for you& the missus from the proceeds at a local stunning pub known only to the wfp!)

I reckon theres more scope to help each other, when talking to custys ive had them say "I told my sister about your system and shes never seen this where she is but likes the fact you do the frames" another "my daughter lives in ? and she cant find a w/c" and "were moving away were going to ?" and my reply to all these questions is would you like me to find you a w/c.

i like what you say i have been at w/c for around 5 months and i asked if they where any one that had work they dont want and some of the feed back i got was well #### you no but i have also had good feed back and if some one asks me to do a job but carnt i try to pass it on and theres more people out there that will do the same
