How did someone phone you from Bath?
Bath's an affluent area... that'll be a nice account, but too far away for me.
It was one of those on-line directory thingys. They send out e-mails scouting for business, getting you to pay for 'search engine enhancement' etc.
He phoned me to see what he could do to help my business, I pointed out that we're top of the listings in our area, which is all we want, so we don't need enhancement.
Anyway, we talked, and I explained how my franchising system works, and he was intrigued as he's considering something similar for his business.
The outcome was that he's going to set up five sites for me, for free, in exchange for me giving him the benefit of my experience. As he's not in competition with me, all it cost me was a few minutes to e-mail him the info he wanted.
