I came up with a good idea, of which i won't tell  ;D
But the following probs come with it.
The idea will work but not sure how to make money out of it.
Who to tell, Trust is a big thing .
Money needed to invest in it , so as to get good coveage before others try to do same.
Time to go and get the third parties invovled to make it work.

Been thinking about it for years , but prob won't ever do anything with it.Then it might be a load of rubbish and may not work is the other worry so keep it to myself and don't look a fool  ::)

i thought of, designed and made a mock up if a device to make ladder window cleaning 100% safe. i told two people who agreed it was a britent idea. and it would of generated serous millionsŁ. but once i started working on the pattern i found out how exspencive it is to painten something. not for me i just dont have the money/time to risk.

good luck to ny one with the balls, i just have to many responcabilitys

I agree Mr D
Makes me wonder how many people have the idea but just don't know how to go about making it work. And if it's not a iteam that can be painten it's even harder, who to tell ,would they use it so on.

I wonder if anyone will ever create something to make window cleaning safer like cleaning top windows from ground level.

Who ever makes that is gonna make alot of money.

HIGH LEVEL WINDOW CLEANERS (scrimmy)

there are other places you can go to than just the dragons....there are tons of investors out there just waiting for the next big thing......a simple search on google is all it takes......but one word of advice....do not let anyone know the idea before you have taken steps to protect it....i know a patent cost a wee bit, but its worth it if the final product is going to give you squillions in return. ;D

You can offer your idea by getting them to sign a disclaimer , which alot dont like .

i kind of went down that line but as wrightstuf said manafactoras dont like signing disclamers without a patant. and untill you have one or have one pending there very reluctant to.

Try selling your idea to a manufacturer, let them do the rest, if you can’t be bothered with it. That way you can still get something.

I remember when I was younger I wanted to patent my idea...

A BBQ Sausage... i.e. a rectangle sausage (instead of rounded) that wouldn't roll off your plate at a BBQ.

It was a good idea at the time anyway  ;)
