Mirrored Ceilings - but not i n the bedroom!!
« on: November 21, 2008, 05:41:36 pm »
A lady next door to one of my regulars asked me to quote for her windows today which I did and then she said that her last window cleaner also did her mirrored ceilings but was very quick to add " not in the bedroom mind!! "

her dining room, hall and landing ceilings are all mirror tiled and she wants them cleaning 3 times a year. It is quite a large area all told BUT what is the best stuff to use to get them spotless??

Help!

use a bit of gg4 or 3 (4 if you are in a hardwater area or 3 in a soft water). Mix it with water in a spray bottle and spray on roof. If the tiles are big enough to squeegee, try that but if they are too small buff them with a microfibre (highly recommend the blue Microfibres from windowcleaningwarehouse)

Just a thought........ if it is 3 times a year they should be pretty clean anyway so you might get away with just a dry buff with the microfibre! if not, try a MF that is slightly damp with gg4 and then dry buff

If they are smokers they will definately need to be sprayed

Oh, and gg4/3 available from windowcleaningwarehouse.

Hope this helps

Try a painters pad (The biggest size) from b&q with a microfibre wrapped round it. You can do the ceilings using a pole that way instead of using steps,.. much faster!
