I have 1 domestic customer who i clean 4 once a week, and also do their carpets once a yr 2 bed bungalow that has been extended so has bedrooms upstairs very large, all woolen berber, pale colour, carpets are never dirty, struggle to get any colour in the dirty tank, even had me clean freshly laid carpet ! the carpet fitter said that the carpet is showing signs of shrinkage ! i personally don`t know what he is on about, can`t see any visible signs of shrinkage what so ever ? he also said that wet cleaning softens the backing of the carpet ! funny though they have just had the downstairs replaced with a darker wool berber, and when he took all the downstairs ones up i asked if he could see any damage to the backing etc,he said none at all wouldn`t even know it had been cleaned !i am carefull and only use a minimum of sol on them as they are clean ?
Is he winding me up ,he said i should dry clean them the next time
