I have gone back to gardiners pro fittings much better than the ezy crap fittings.

I was using the pro fittings before the easy snap one's and found them excellent but changed to eazy snap as they connected straight to my triggers.

From day 1 i hated them and they didn't last at all.

The pro fittings are much much better and they don't break.

Can anyone else confirm this??? I might think about it Paul.......but to be honest i thought EZ snaps we're about the best you could get and after having quite a few of them as spares,i'll be loathed to spend nearly £100 on refitting pro's on all my hoses.

Having tried out many different alternative fittings over the years I still prefer the EZ snap fittings.  The worst fittings are definitely hoselock, they really are a waste of time and money.  For a couple of years I used the pro fittings but they could be very stiff to release as the fitting got older.  Whilst EZ snap are not perfect, they are easy to use and are very light and compact.  I do find that they are sensitive to grit, which is usually the cause of the collar jamming.  I never use WD40 on them, just spray them out with water if I see dirt in there.

It's definitely the bearings like i said. I dabbed some vaseline on them today using a cotton bud to really get into the bearings well...............and not a drop did drip. May just have to keep a bit on board for when it happens again..............There's nothin worse that walkin around with water all down me jeans for hours. I keep gettin dodgy looks

this is the couplers i use now, they also come with a valve so when you disconnect the water stopd dead, iv had mine over 6 months with no faults, or leaks,

How much?
And do they do 8mm?

I believe that "WD" is silicone based.

It's not designed as a lubricant, although it's "slippy", it's a "Duck oil" designed to repel dampness.

Used on ignition leads, and similar.

they are the best, they do them in all sizes, i mean that, i will never look back at air couplers again, if they do get a bit of dirt just wash it out easly as that, all that can go wrong, is the o rings may wear in time, thats easy just put new ones on, iv stood on them hundreds of times and they are still going strong, i cant recomend them enough, the only company i know who stocks them, but a little expensive if you want them tomorrow is emprium poles,

kent supply both alex, the ones in  the video i use on my brush tube connections, the others with the clips i use on my main hose for quick disconnection

but be carefull they only do sizes in imperial not metric, so be carful when buying in your size. unless it has changed from six months ago

jo, your video, is that a stop flow?

no open flow, i made the mistake not buying the closed valve coming from the pump, so lesson learned lol, but still do the job well. so if you are ordering  them at least make sure one is valved especialy from the pump end to stop the flow when disconnected,

They look good Jo, good find, i get on well with EZ Snap but i dont suppose they wear easily
