I use a Tungsten T5 its way more than you need but i use it for other things as well so something like a Zire would be fine if just for George and much cheaper have a look on ebay their are plenty around

just for george?? zire 31 is good, and get for 35 on ebay...has other capabilities but nothing to right home about, but for george it is spot on

I don't think so. There just isn't the space on there to be too detailed. It'll show street name and number though.  Just touch it and it'll come up with price,what's owing etc

i have a zire 31, but trouble is, it's  hard to see on sunny days, also have a zire 21 much better for sunny days.


both cheap, ideal for george,  zire 31 colour backlight, ideal for night time collecting.

zire 21 monochrome (black and grey display) no back light but ideal for bright days.

no, it only shows customer details ,last done date,  debts or pre paid ,notes.

you can record payment method , amount paid, and change job price if you want,

you can load from 1 - 56 days work on to it, and display either in date due mode or address mode ( list cutys in order on round)

it holds all the details you need whilst out working

sorry went out, yeah its colour but you prob had a  look at it by now it is good for replacing your notebook basically, not full george but theres very few scenarios what make carrying that necessary, you would need a better pda/phone to do that, but ive found the zire fine, only problem is where to carry it to keep it dry

the main reason i would buy one is to book jobs in, i would need diary view to see up to 2 or 3 weeks in advance to book jobs in, would it do this?
