Normal cleaning probably wont but depending on type of rug you might be able to soak it, extract it and then block it on a frame to dry.  The drying on the frame may take out the crease.

If you decide to take this on then charge extra for the extra work but give no guarantees.

If its a cheap rug tell them to replace it.

I think we need to know the construction of the rug.  If it's woven, there may be hope.  If it's tufted, the backing layers may well have been permanently mis-shapen

i would say yes,
clean it, carefully iron it with a damp towel.
then pop down to your local library and hire out 10 of the biggest books you can find, pop them on over night and viola, voula vaula, ahem!!! hey presto, one uncreased rug, with a charge of cleaning x 1.5 for the art of taking the crease out.
or should i say, you can increase  the price, ;D ;D ;D increase, get it, crease, in crease, awww forget it.

Cheers guys,il get back to them tomorrow and see whether the rug is actually worth the cleaning, but i imagine it must be if the removal company are looking it fixed instead of just offering their customer a refund.
ps very good Derek ;D
