how hot to go

just got my hot setup all ready for tomorrow and was just wondering how hot should i got, im normally got most of the hose out, where abouts should the gs dial be?

V8Edd reccomends 20 degrees on cold days

If you have a hand held TDS meter it may also do temp, mine does

DONT go 2 hot just warmish is enough BUY a digital thermometer
20 ish to 25 maybe but no more or you will get SHATTERING results
We ave used 40 degs but that is pushing my luck!!!

I have just checked temp of my 500l tank and it is 11c.  I am very interested in a hot system but 20c doesn't seem a lot more.  Please don't read this as a negative, but does the extra 9c make a lot of difference.
