I've done this before (dropped leaflets to dirty houses and no calls) but not anymore. I now drop the leaflets then go back the next week and knock every door. Custie prefers to see the face of the person that's going to do their windows.

during the week leading up to this thursday just gone i've delivered 600 leaflets to detached houses in 3 different areas.

two areas windows were generally dirty, one was generally clean.

I quoted 2 houses while I was leafleting (not heard from either yet) and i've had one call and got the job.

I don't know if it's the credit crunch, the weather or the time of year, but i'm amazed at the lack of response. my leaflets are really smart as well.

I had enough work for the month, but i'm getting through it much quicker with my hot water nowadays, creating gaps!!

There is no point in knocking of leafletting the mingers. Virtually all the calls come from the houseproud types.

all my work has been built up from scratch and pretty much all of them had filthy disgusting windows when i started.
