WANT NEW WORK ANYONE??
« on: November 15, 2008, 11:13:49 am »
Hi all,
Don't know if this helps but was online earlier looking for w/c work and found a website called egenie.co.uk and people are looking for w/c in all areas around the country.

In the search type window cleaning and all areas come up.  If people on here can get to the areas could be some work in it for you.

goodluck
chris. :D

theres a number of these quote for work websites springing up. People request quotes etc, but you the window cleaner has to pay for there details (up to like £200 for credits), and no guarantee of getting any work from it..

These sites are just not worth it imo. I stay well clear of them.

Just canvass, and advertise well.

All very true.

Egenie has free membership which is not worth the time spent registering and I bet a pound to a penny that your details will be sold to marketing companies etc. They then have another 2 levels of membership which allow you to BID for jobs. One costs £24.99 a month and the other £34.99 a month. I had a look at 1 window cleaning job near me on the site and I wouldn't bother even if the person who posted it phoned me to quote. It stated "is the job available to see" or something like that and the person had put NOT NECESSARY. Yeah right...  all she wants is a cheap job and probably a one off although she states monthly.

Delete, no its good input that we all learn from. Type "windowcleaning" "your area" and see if you get any links to eugene, there are loads out there that all promise a top search engine placement. Youwont beat door knocking.

HOLD ON.... ;D

If one person sees a potential customer on that site.. and gives them a quote ..they accept a tenner per month.... its been worth £120 to that guy on here.

look at all angles.

so was worth a post on here.  ;)
