The Show
« on: March 01, 2005, 09:08:24 pm »
Just back from the show.

To be honest it was my first time and i was a little disappointed.  A bit smaller than I imagined and only CFR had their machines working for demos.  Due to this I was disappointed not to have seen others in action.

From what I heard a few suppliers stayed away due to Carpex being a success and more targeted for carpet cleaners.

Met a few old and new faces which was good but I reckon the 31st will be better by far, provided the machines can be switched on!

Mark

PS. the CFR wand has already gone.  The prizes tomorrow are the spotter and a few other bits.

Mark,

Saw you on the CFR stand.  Was going to say hi, but you seemed 'engrossed' with Karls wife at the time.   ;)  Only in  conversation of course.

Regards.

Yeah I was reading the report from Eric Brown at the CFR stand and agree the new models look and seem impressive as does the new wand.

Only thing about them is i cant seem to establish just how more effective the 750psi model would be over the 500psi model.  They tell me it will clean better but what does that mean in real life???  You can also have the 500psi with two vacs.

I noticed the cowgirls but did you notice the rep with the really short black skirt.  Looked more like a hooker.

Did notice the one with black skirt.......nice legs but a face like a spanked arse  :P
I felt it my duty to point out to the two girls in white T shirts handing out fineline wipes, the irony of have 'wipe it off' across their chests.............they saw the funny side and i never got a slap ::)
Did also notice some carpet cleaning stuff  ;D

The CFR looks good, clean a 4 bed house without refilling.......maybe!
This could be my next belated Chrisie pres to myself, might have a closer look, seriously thinking about going south to have a closer look, very impressed so far.
Have been reading previous posts about this machine on here and other boards and not seen any negatives from owners.

The cow girls looked like they might need feeding :D

Did you get stung for the £6 parking charge at the show? If you did, send your parking ticket and your Cleaning show entry badge to the address below for a refund.

Or to avoid the charge in the first place, obtain a red car park ticket on entry (or exit) from the show. The times I arrived had someone standing at the entrance asking everyone if they required a ticket.

Safe and happy parking :)

I asked at the carpark kiosk before I went in if there was any charge and they said no.

Then a nice lady at the entrance gave me free parking red ticket.

Alan, you really must pay attention, not parking charges ;D
