I nearly always wear sunglasses for water fed pole work. The glare and water droplets falling down make my brain close my eyes and I go virtually blind. I  have at least two pairs of decent sunglasses in the vehicle. Only on really dull days do I take them off.

I do a few flats in a south facing 4-story (white) Georgian crescent in Exmouth.  In summer the glare off that bad boy is like being in a snowfield!  I have lightweight glasses with reactive darkening lenses and wouldn't be without them.  Before I got em ive have had moments in the past where I couldn't even see the ground properly to put my pole down (due to glare). dodgy

WFP ing gets your head up and the glare gets in. The lads in the USA  have been getting pinholes burnt into the back of their cornea from the glare. My minimum protection is a hat with a large brim then shades in the bright sunlight, its still important in the winter when the sun is at low height.

Snap. Also carry a pair of yellow marigold rubber gloves for when SL-2 sections stick together.

vivaro - that sounds like ocular migraine, I get them - very common.

Do you drink a lot of coffee, eat chocolate or have high blood pressure?  Even if you don't you can still get ocular migraine, some people it causes temporary blindness with others its the same symptoms as you (same symptoms as me)

ask your optician if it could be ocular migraine
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!
