I have no problem with Kev promoting his software because he is a carpet cleaner who has been here for ages, its not like the Canadian leather guy who just comes on here to push his products.

BUT!!!!.....

it s bit like me taking my own sandwiches into a cafe in town, they pay to have that cafe in town, they pay for the staff, they pay for the table & chairs. is it Ok for me walk in, use their facilities to eat my own sandwich?.

Express cleaning has paid money and put effort into building this forum to what it is. its not right that people use thier hard work to sell there own products,

if I had been Kev I would have got in touch with Mike B and asked if he could promote his package ( and as a sweetener offered a discount to CIU members )

I know your a decent, straight talking bloke who says it as it is, so in this respect I'm glad you can see it for what it is.

I honestly didnt think when I posted it though - if I had known I would have asked Mike first without a shadow of a doubt. Maybe I was being a bit naive, but there was certainly no intention to carry out anything blatant and against the rules. So, I am very sorry for upsetting the applecart a bit - I can assure you it wont happen again.

I did e mail Mike yesterday to apologise as Doug brought the same thing to my intention - so I hope he is ok with it.

stick it on ebay, as a thirty day freebie, mass marketting and all us lot go on there as well plus 1000's more cleaners. you'll get 100's of triallers.

I am considering a purchase but system requirements state microsoft office (access) is required, and the cheapest I can find it for is £200. Just makes it a bit more pricey then.

I'm one of the original fasttrack guys, i monitor all my work, i know where every job comes from and £ for £ what things work best for me. I have the camelot software program from the states, very expensive, you don't get much change out of £2000.00 at todays £/$ ratio but very good, i just can't believe what some people want for a little over £200.00.

I've had a look at the program and some of you guys out there should buy it at that price, This will help you out alot, i know what kev is talking about when you try to remember when you last done a job for someone, looking through old paper work, double mailing etc.

PS  This will save you alot of time (the only thing you can't buy)
