Ian,the option to "hide" email addresses within your personal options is to prevent the general public from seeing a members email address, this is the choice of the member, and should not prevent Moderators or Admin from seeing them via the moderators panel.
I moderate on a totally non cleaning related board and have done so for many years and we have thousands of members who choose not to show their email addresses or use the avatar function,on our site this is not compulsory, but as Moderators or Admin the information is still readily available.
When a Mod removes or edits a post  there is the option for that Mod to state a reason and that is emailed or PMd to the member regardless of whether his email is on public view or not.
I have just realised that this board does not use VBulletin so appreciate that maybe Mod options and permissions may be more limited on here.-John

Jim

You forgot to mention that you need your current password to change your profile details.

As I don't know what mine is I am stuck with my old company name.

No probs Clinton, took me all of 90 seconds ;)

Steve, I think if you log out of the forum then go to log in again, there should be a "forgot password" link.  That should send you your password, or a temporary one which you can change after you've logged back in again.  I'll just log out and in again to check, will post back in a min...

Yep, thats about right.

1)  Scroll up and click the button Log Out

2) You will now be at the login screen (as in first pic below) where you should click forgot your password?

3) Enter either your username or the email address used on CIU in the box (as in 2nd pic below)

4) Click on the Send button and it will send you an email

5) Click on the link in the email and it will take you to another screen (as in the pic below)

6) Enter your chosen password in both boxes and you should be good to go!
