Recieved a request to quote for Window Cleaning.

We do work in Burton but, not regular enough to warrant taking this on.

Contact: Shamban on 01283 535646.

Frequency depends on price.

Hope this helps & not somebody,s job already thats on here.

Did 6 Maccy Dees up till 2 years ago, they do not want to pay the price.

Started off at first, along time ago, at 7 days per week, then cut back to 5 then to 4 then ended up at 3.

Regular drive thru should be at least £20 per clean for in and out doing 3 cleans per week as it takes 1 hour to do a decent job, can be done in 40 mins if cleanish.
I was getting nowhere near this and in the end lost out to the gardener(not Alex, the actual gardener) who was paid a measly £8 for each of 3 restaurants and he made a really crap job. Asked me how to do it as it was taking him 2 hours each store I told him to feck off.

Ended up losing approx 10 grand of work in 1 month and I had cleaned their windows for 19 years, no loyalty there.

Cleaned ceilings, signs, drive thru lanes, frames even did a litter pick for them once as they were short of staff.

A guy local to me was asked if he was interested in doing a local McDs,he said yes but let me know the spec etc and ill give you a price. The manager told him the price was set at £120.He thought thats not too bad 3 times a week early call at £40 a call.He nearly spat his rubbery burger out when the manager told him the £120 was for the month.

I had a similar situation with a McD.  I thought he was referring to the price per clean but it turned out it was the price per week (3 cleans).  I know the guy who does it.  He spot cleans the inside and does a full one once a week.  On the outside the out of reach bits get done once a month.  I would rather quote to do it all every time but a lot of these places just won't pay it.

ive seen the chap at my local mcd's and one near my round and he spot cleans and only does as high as he can reach . obviously not worth it, and there is no parking at one near me, he has to watch the wardens the whole time :)

if we all stayed clear then they would soon realise that to keep clean windows they have to be prepared to pay fairly... problem is , there will always be a wc that is prepared to work for peanuts >:(

i blame these silly  window cleaners not mcdonalds
