I need a decent sprayer for applying pre spray, what do you recommend.

I got one of these the other week, dead cheap for a stainless sprayer but no guage and the trigger arrangement I don't like at all.

Prochem 6l chemically resistant     comes with 2 different coloured hoses depending on what your using.
£75 + the dreaded.

Iv'e just got two of these Arrived yesterday.  ebay item no 220275994059

£42 for the pair delivered.

They seem really good, and at that price you really can't go far wrong.

Normally I prefer plastic ones, but all the ones I have seen have been moulded in two halfs then joined forming a seem. It's this seem that I find normally bursts after a while.

Mike is your Hudson one moulded this way or is it one peice. I will be interested to know how well it lasts the test of time.

How long is the stroke on these Hudsons.

I find on the cheaper units the pumping stroke is so short - not good for us oldies. :)

l like it. seems very robust. Can't compare it to really top end sprayers as I've never had one.

If I had to find a fault, I would like the stroke to be longer, making it quicker to pressurize.

Having said that I find on some of the plastic ones I've had a lot of air bypasses the piston while pumping, due to poor piston seals. Not on this one.

no pressure relief on it but I prefer that anyway. It's very early days. Will keep you informed.

On the box it came in it says five year limited gauruntee. But only valid in the US and Canada.

But even still it must be made to last.

Did you check your finger Mike?
After few times I`v learned to keep my finger at the top of the trigger.
For £25 its well decent.
