Records

I know this is gonna be controversial, but still :)

I nearly battered my record day today only i didnt do the last job as it just got too dark i dont know why but i was flying today, and i hadnt really slept well last night which usually slows me but with the weather being bad yesterday and trying to catch up i moved like i had ants in me pants :)

Anyway wondered what was everyones record day??

However there are rules :)

It cant be one offs or commercial, but what you did on your residential round - the highest you earned in one day on your houses....and state is it wfp, or trad :)

No billy liars eh, and no slating anybody for doing well....if you think its not true just leave it but should be interesting, and obviously no worry about tax man as this is one off and not day rate :)

So..... who is first???

£17.25 - But that was 8 am - 3pm so not a full day ...

But it was enough for 6 pints of stella at the "raggit and scarper" public house.
It's a game of three halves!

fair enough it was a silly post i will delete it then if that how everyone wants to be .. why all the shiftyness is what your best day was? Scared you will all get knocked down by the next, to me everyones best is good, no matter if its 130 or 459 as that is obviously your best hardest working day unless you never tried, so long as you grafted then well done to you....but obviously theres some major insecurtity issues on here, probably feel inadequate downstairs  too... :)

I've got loads of records in my shed, mostly good quality Classical. The sound quality is much better, that is it has more resonance, than tapes or CD's, but you do have to have a good player. I have a Rega a brilliant amp and some 3 foot speakers.
I was not allowed to bring them in the house.

I'm so glad someone else likes records, but should this not be in another section?

Why doesn't no one want to say what they have done as a record.... I just thought it would be interesting......shame how you cant discuss it because you are scared of others knowing or you cant tell truth etc....

Anyway...forget it....i was honest, im sure many people beat my best every day but i know i did my BEST so if you cant be proud of your best achievement to date then so be it, this forum is starting to get sad man

Whats the point? It's just not very proffessional in my opinion, we all have personal records but it's just not wise to brag about them.

Its not i earn x amount every day though is it, its what is your record alone on residential, read the first post .... anyway im abandoning the topic im not bothered, coz everyone gets on there holier than though - im not disclosing my top secret record ...most are prob too lazy to get up and bust there ass all day to see what is possible anyway....sorry but i think its a bit sad you all feel like that i thought it was a reasonable question and would of made an interesting post but obviously no one is grown up enough....

I did answer the question mate but i deleted it because i dont see why i should disclose it to get the p taken when no one else wants too they just wanna go for the im too good to tell you what i earned...

I do most of my work in Bowdon, Hale (and barns), Altrincham, Sale and Timperly. Not too far from some of your work.

I think he said it was £226 or something like that, he did have a £30 con roof to do but it got dark.

Starting a post with "I know this is gonna be controversial, but still " then spitting the dummy seems a bit daft to me!
