How long do batterys last as i charged on a fast charge last night so that i could bring extension lead in before going to bed, it said full charged, started work at 9 all weel, then got to town house at 12 and the pressure is low by the time i get to bottom windows it was just trickling out, shall i just give it a long slow charge till tomorrow morning,

Put a split charge system on its a lot less hassle,you can get them from ebay around £39.99 item no 280280794896 easy to fit.

Yer im going to do that as i hate charging the thing,but that doesnt stop the battery from having fault

a fast charge is no good for a leisure battery, a slow charge overnight, every night will keep it in good nick.

don't let them discharge to beow 20% , other wise you will pemanatly damage it, reducing capacity.

my 75 ah battery is nearly 2 yrs old now, used every day, and still lasts a good long day.

What charger are you using Jaykie?

I was having trouble with my battery not lasting very long (1/2 a day), bought a new one and the same happened to this after a month or so. Went and bought a posh battery charger from Halfords £39 and hey presto the Batteries are now lasting up to 2 days. So the cheap bog standard charger I was using wasn't doing to job properly. This New one states it will work on all batteries.

I now alternate between the two Batteries one in the van and one on charge swap over everyday. Not sure if a Split relay would be good enough for me has I dont really do long Journey's.

My battery I got with my system from pure freedom lasted about 6 months maybe 7 at most, I know have 2 batteries in one van and a marine battery in the other

Hi guys. 

Can using 2 pumps at a high flow rate damage a battery as the leisure batteries I use from halfords only seem to last for 9 months max.

I always keep a spare battery in the van and occasionally top it up on a trickle charge (3monthly). Never needed to use it but sods law the day I don't carry it I'll need it. Like to be organised and keep a spare everything (pump, pole, fuses, etc). Pre preparation prevents poor performance which was drummed into me by the army, old habit's die hard

was going to say my battery in van 1 drains in 2 hard days or one and a bit with 2 people

thanks . batteries seem to be more difficult than membranes at moment. both the backpack one and trolley one went at same time.
