Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

Did us all a favour by not letting us log in!

Some forum updates require complete access by the admin, users logging in and out and posting doesn't work, same with backups.

My thoughts are they need to update the software app they are using, there are more stable ones available.

To be fair to Mike, he runs this free of charge so should get a pat on the back for it, I have not looked into the hosting side of the forum, but maybe they used all the bandwidth over the week end, the error connecting to server IMO is one of the security settings that was changed to stop certain links and also htt p sufix being used, before this change was made the problem was not there. And if I am being totally honest there is ways round not using htt p so again imo it is a waste of time and highly annoying, I do not get this on other forums I use. Maybe this was changed in error who knows.

But for today it is working again so thats all good.
