Does the L5 heater take calor gas or propane, or both.

whats the difference between propane and butane, just gettin confused.

Just googled this for you.

Propane (red and green cylinders) has a lower boiling point than butane (blue cylinders) and is stored at a higher pressure so it is more suited for storage outside. Butane’s boiling point (conversion from liquid to gas) is around 0˚C so in colder conditions around this temperature it will not work.

If i goto my local garage and buy propane bottel, it's cheaper than going to B&Q and buying Calor Gas bottel. All you need is a propane bottel does'nt have to be Calor

Propane is the one you want for all year use outside. I believe Macgas does not charge a deposit for the bottles, and the bigger the bottle the cheaper the gas.
