i had a guy in a jcb ask me abruptly "can you move your van"?

yes i replied, and i carried on working,

he asked again "can you move your van "?

i looked at him with ahappy face and politely said "please" and carried on working

then he asked can you move your van please?

my reply "certainly " and i moved it straight away!

it wasnt really about the word please, but his tone and manner

I just drop a load of bollards in their parking spaces so they can't take the p... when I'm cleaning. Move them and their cars are parked at their own risk which I let them know of
