i would say about 50p a pane outside. £3.00 per section. possibly could get more, but you want to land it.

£500 for a one off £400 / £350 if it's a regular clean, you do need to check inside though ie them front entrance windows !
dont look who's to blame, look how to fix it. anon

£350 very maximum for that, you can fly around that wfp, and internally it will be straightforward!!

If you want it be realistic one man approx 5 hours.

how regular? if monthly you can easily turn a good profit going in at £180, the insides will be a doddle after the first clean. just go early so people in the offices don't see you doing the insides too fast ;D, quick scrim and on to the next inside, check for finger marks and thats it. you will do it all, one man in about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs, obviously the access inside could change all that.
I would have to agree, some of the prices quoted on here are absolute rubbish

You are too slow - need to speed up or else you WILL get undercut big time

Way too much - sorry!

T%hats closer but these prices are way too much - No window cleaner will get a lot of work charging this amount. Seriously do yourself a favour and listen to the  £180- £220 sort of price and you will be on the right tracks. The ones who are quoting those prices don't have much commercial work and it shows! If they did they would know those prices are OTT! Out of the ones I have quoted as examples AJ is the most realistic after YWCS  ;)

I wouldnt want to give an inside price as such as you'd need to look inside first to get an idea of what accessibility is like, you'd no doubt want to write in a clause explaining that inside windows which had their access blocked wouldnt be done.

You'd spend more time moving furniture or climbing over desks if the layout means you cant get directly to the windows.

If I priced it assuming the sides are the same as the front Id go in at £165.00 for the outside and the  same inside.

£330.00 in and out.

Which brings the question - how much do you guys expect to earn in a day? Because i find some of these prices rather shocking. But then i don't do a lot of commercial.

I would be looking at £150 insides and about £65/£75 outsides.

£225 asking price, would settle for £200 - these are realistic prices for the Glasgow area and we do quite a bit of commercial.

I think you ought to price what the job is worth to you.  If you need the work, go cheap; you'll be to cut some corners to make it profitable if need be, and if you don't need/want the work go high.

We normally lose out - I'm sure it's just on price - when it comes to quoting for stuff where other window cleaners are asked to quote too; and believe me, we try our best to sell ourselves; I even ask Wor Lass to stick a bit of 'slap' on!  ;D

It looks a straightforward job though, especially if you're van-mounted (it'd be to big for me and my backpack); no exterior access issues.

Inside could be another matter though; climbing over desks and stuff, but they're simple one-pane windows to squeegy.

Personally, I'd err on the side of 'cheap' rather than 'expensive', 'cos there'll be other window cleaners who're asked to quote, who'll go in cheap, and then do a 'cheap job'; but everyone will be happy.  The company gets it's windows cleaned, (they won't be looking for perfection) and the window cleaner will be able to turn-over a good amount too; with only one-point-of-contact for payment; though you'll probably have to wait a month (at least) to get paid.

I wouldn't go lower than £200 though.

I would have said 200 to 250 for in and out, a bit more if you are dealing right with owner. If your subbing for a contracter then you may have to do I for less. I reckon between 4-5 hours in total.

Simon.

Reason I ask is you say youve not priced something like this before, so did they find you t'internet and e-mail you?

2 men could do that in 2 hours no problems. 4hours whats that all about. you could price that at £150 and stil make a good wage. theres 60 windows on that front side plus the middle .maybe 15 seconds per window .you will bash that off in no time
