Tarmac drive cleaning help

My dad asked me whats the best cleaning solution to use to get rid of moss and algea etc for tarmac drives..
He was going to jet wash it, but i told him to be carefull as he might take off the tar from the surface, which i have done before on my own drive, along with loosening stones etc
Im sure there is something you can use in co operation with a stiff brush.. any advise would be appreciated!

best to pressure was it on aslittle pressure as poss, dont use chemicals as it will eat into the tar, just try a fan spray or small rotary washer/

i try and kill it first then go over the area with a rotary washer then remove as much moss etc as poss then use a fan jet washer to clean area down.
but if the moss is wet i found out that makes it a bit easyer to come out.

Wait untill its dry so the moss will absorb the chem,
I would use MMC pro diluted either in a sprayer or watering can soak the area so the moss/alge absorbs the solution (it can only do this when its dry) in a few days all will die!! Moss etc will turn brown go crisp and can be brushe off or left to wether off. MMC Pro also prevents re growth for quite a while 3 to 6 months IIRC
This company sell it but it must have dropped off the listings, I think its around £25 for 5litrs but dilutes a lot.

Simply pressure wash on low pressure with fan spray as DS says.
If you really do not want to PW then try Algon. This should do the trick.
