hi again, need to remove a vegetable oil and olive oil froman outdoor storage shed floor. i will have to scrape the worst off with a scraper as its thick in patches, but then whats best to use, i have no hot water so will detergent and cold water turbo nozzle remove it?  i know hot or steam would be best but cant afford hot washer at minute. i just getting buy as it is! :

has it stained the floor or is it just a spillage?

if its just a spillage then paper towel will do the job.

there is a pallet that has been there for years, it has leaked all around the pallet over time, it looks greasy, dusty and horrible. i have bought some de greaser. i will apply it, agitate it in the try to wash off. im gutted i have no heat but hot washers are expensive,  i dont think it will shift easy with just cold water you know what its like.

yeah, had a similar job a few weeks back. thankfully it was only a small area.

have you only got cold water too?

Yeah, but I boiled a kettle to pour on it. thankfully cos of it being in a factory wasn't a problem using their kettle. What degreaser did you get in the end?

i have tfr, thompsons driveway cleaner for oil, and swarfega oil and grease remover i got from b and q, will give them all a go.

well in the event they don't do the trick, we do a brilliant degreaser. It will do that ink problem for you as well.

is that the lightning?  how much is it in 25 litre drums?   is it a heavy duty de greaser ideal for oil stains on drives etc?

It is brilliant for oil stain removal. In fact to be honest it is brilliant for just about everything. It is the main product we use. You can clean just about everything with it, tiling, floors, most carpets, fabrics, metal, alloy wheels, brickwork, engines, etc.

whats the best way to use it, just brush it on, agitate it and pressure wash off?

depends on what you're using it on, it can be applied by brush, mop, spray, pressure washer etc. If its really bad staining then spray it on and leave it for a few mins, then just either pressure wash off or just mop up.

im going to haver to get a hot washer some how. heat is the key to cut grease,  cold water and chemicals i cant see being brilliant!  cold and grease dont go!

hi guys, did ther job today, did not need heat, i scraped up all the hard and thick oil and then covered the area in tfr, left to dwell, then turboed off, great job! customer well pleased, not just any custy either, sony!  ( as in the electrical giants! (    thanks.
