Church Clean
« on: October 26, 2008, 08:55:13 pm »
Hi all
just been asked to clean a church after builders have removed and replasterd the walls, hopefully everything will be covered up!

They would like all the high level beams cleaning but the problem is that no scaffold or cherry picker can be used because of the wooden suspended floor.

Does anyone think this is the perfect job for the gutter-vac?

Im hoping so as we have just purchased the full package from Omnipole for the Autumn rush!!

First thing is to check your insurance covers you for such a job

We have full public & employers insurance, we will be working for the main building contractor.

After Build cleans are our business!

Danny,

Insurances (Public/Employee/Product/Process) always have exclusions within the small print, it is very rare that you would be covered for working within churches, airports, oil rigs, confined spaces etc. (these are just some of the exclusions contained within the majority of so called "Comprehensive Policies).

Best to check, wont take long via e-mail or just read and fully understand the policy.

Rob
