Are there any Car Valeters Here who know or use DI Water?
« on: October 20, 2008, 05:47:49 pm »
As my question asks, are there any car valeters here who use or know how to use DI water when valeting a car.

My question is what do you use it for?

Regards,

Tosh (from the Window Cleaning section).

Had to take my van into the garage today, and there was a mobile car cleaning guy there. After seeing the post last week on the wc section i thought id have a word with him. He had a 200 litre tank in his transit that he uses to wash peoples cars with if he cant hook up to the customers tap. But he always, once he has shampooed a vehicle, uses pure water to rinse off, saying that he does not then have to chamois. I said what do your customers think, and he said that they like it.
Have a look at this.

As above but I also use it to clean windows inside, just use a pump sprayer and then buff with a smooth microfibre
