Need  a new accountant, can anyone recomend one in my area please... someone who knows w/cs.... as all the ones i have spoken to, treat me like i own an empire, and want to charge me as such.

yes im only at sandal... so not so far, is he on the main road through, as he was one who said he starts at 300 and goes up from there etc.

sandal only 10 minutes from me , will find out accountants number in the morning as i dont use him yet but hes highly reccomended .

I'm sure mny accountants will tell you a rough figure so you ain't thinking you're getting ripped off. My accountant charges a mate £500 to do his books and go through his numbers.
I reckon you would be better paying a personal visit with your accounts all in order and receipts stapled together in monthly sequences.
If you are using george it should all be there for them on 2 sheets of paper.
I was expecting to pay a couple of hundred for my accountant but he only charged me £40 each time the last 4 years.
If you have your paperwork in order, stapled together etc then it probably wouldn't take them more than 1/2 an hour.
If you have neat accounts all they need to do is look at your profit/loss account and expenses, add on other things to your expenses which you haven't claimed for and then add it up and print off.
1/2 hours work for my accountant.
Though i don't have an empire for him to go through.
