Wand K valve split whilst on Job
« on: October 08, 2008, 02:00:19 pm »
My connector linking K valve to wand solution point split this morning spraying water everywhere. What a nightmare this is when this happens.

Took it to two plumers merchants and had no joing in replacing the pressure fitting. Alltec have put one in the post to me today, so I hope it comes tomorrow.

I have had that happen to me twice now, both due to leaving the wand in the van on frosty nights.
I took mine to an engineers to be braised, think it cost about £20 but got me going again within an hour.

No frost, just amount of use. Ordered 2 so I have a spare now.

find a local engineer
mine did the same, took it to this company and they fixed it while i waited, took him less than a minute charged me a tenner
worth every penny!
also picked up some quick connects
half the price of any suppliers from carpet cleaning industry!
