« on: February 22, 2005, 07:44:24 pm »
Hi,
I recently bought an expensive jumper but accidentally spilt bleach on it last night. Is there anyway i can cover the stain, the problem is the jumper is not a normal colour, it is like a faded black, if i stain it black will it totally cover it, what product should i use?

thanks

Hi Liam

What a shame.  Unfortunately there isn't alot you can do when you have spilt bleach on clothing.  Even if you dye the garment the colour won't take the same to the bleached area as the rest.

Depending on where the spill is you could alway try to cover it with some sort of motif or even use the good old method of tie dying!  I have ruined many decent cloths with chemicals and know how upsetting it can be so my only advice? Be more careful!  ;) Not much use I know.
