i got a phone call the other day and a woman went off on one about this and that and bla bla bla

i couldnt get a word in, just politly said no thanks, then she was like what about your yell.com listing then

i said "what about it?" and she got ina  huff and hung up! cheecky git, wasted about 10 mins of my time when i politely said no thanks

i just thought id have a look at yell just now and my listing has gone!

they took it off!

if youve put one up and had the friendly (not) phone calls. id check your ad. ive redone mine...have to wait and see

i opted for a "FREE" ad, i want a FREE ad, not pay for it!

Yeah i had one of those, i noticed my add went too.

Ive since re added it back, and now i actually pay for advertising, but i wont next year, its money down the drain in my eyes. as non of my custy's are from advertising.

told them i will see what comes in off the free listing if i am happy may be get one next year as i advertise elswere
mine is still on there but the thing is i dont get it one day i look and im on page 5 tonight i look im on page two how dose it work the more clicks you get the better page ranking you get

I was told it random. just ry a new search and you will be on a different page.

I've put in for Yell and Yellow pages this year and I've got no customers from it, 2 calls that I handed over to someone else.  But a whole heap of calls from other advertisers.

I paid £90 for mine 2 months ago, got a £90 a quarter nursing home a week after, and now been contacted by a company in swindon to do local work here on 3 buildings (see other posts) and also had 2 domestic jobs from it too.
