few jobs i do they have renovated the houses and the window sill area is now covered witha metal moulded box which is painted. as you can imagine the ladder slides on this a bit.

i thought about ladder mitts to help this but i then thought of attaching some rubber onto back of ladder to help this as the mitts are at top of ladder.

any ideas.

ladder stand off bracket it will stop you damageing the new metal aswell put it just below the sill

When I was on ladders I used the big orange ladder mitts and they were really good.

Why not get a long tube put a brush on the end with a bit of pipe and some 000tds water, Job done

If you used proper pointed window cleaners ladders, you could put the point into the reveal (between glass and brickwork) ABOVE the window box.  If the window is too wide to reach, just move the ladder to the other side.
