cone top .. can anyone help please
« on: September 27, 2008, 03:50:38 pm »
hi,i have 2 small poles, they type from b&q.... but one has a thread top which is smaller than my angle adaptor thread.... and one has a cone top....

is there such a thing as an adaptor.. which fits both of these... so my angle adaptor will screw onto it, then i can put my brush on....

thanks for any help.  ;)

If you can't get one, then stick the end of your cone into boiling water to soften it, then screw it into your angle adaptor, then un-screw it and repeat the process until you see it cutting a thread for you.

Don't stick it into boiling water for to long or it will be far to soft.

You are using the plastic cone Gazz ???

I've done it 3 times with boiling water and its worked, Jouk45 has also done it a few times and its worked, I recon your doing it wrong Gazz.

You can get an aluminium cone from Cleantech - they seem to fit inside most sorts of poles.
