i am picking up a lot of new customers who have heard that the pole system does,nt leave streaks on the glass like trad does and also they are fed up only getting some of there windows cleaned because the previous trad guy  either won,t go up the ladder above a certain height or they physically can,t reach the windows , is this the the beginning of the slow death for trad cleaners ?

Me thinks this could turn into a WFP v traditional post again.

Personally I'm all in favour of WFP; it's the best business decission I ever made, but you're going to upset the mop and squeegie lads now.

But yes, most definately. Bedroom windows above conservatories, windows four and five stories up, all better with a pole.

And I feel it does a much better job in general.

Christ, that'll probably upset them too!!
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

I don't think customers care which way they are cleaned.
Most people have seen window cleaners now with WFP and don't seem to question it anymore like they used to.
I use both methods as i prefer traditional but WFP is easier so i tend to mix it a bit.

Yep, i prefer using a ladder, but the cleans are much better with wfp - its just your preference.

But you can get more done with wfp than risking it on a ladder, or climbing about cons roofs like a spider to clean the windows above them..

Ive found that, we are getting a few more wfp cleaners in the area, the first wfper we had around here bought a big round from a trad cleaner, he lost a big percentage of the round quickly, and eventually gave the rest of it up. (I guess people wasnt ready for it then)

but things have changed slightly, locally what I hear from my customers, is that they still prefer the traditional method, but are becoming more used to wfp... Im guessing if the customer is getting a good job done, it doesnt matter what method is used.
