float switch, i need to stop my tank overflowing!!
« on: September 26, 2008, 03:51:05 pm »
advice/instruction please if someone has the time!

Ok system is running and producing water, RO water into 1000l ibc static, all fittings are 15mm john guest or 1/2" hose. The RO is 4040 I need to fit a float switch and a solenoid to shut down the mains feed into the system when the tank is full. I know nothing about solenoids!!

Could someone please advise me on what I need to buy from the float switch through to the safest power supply, i would prefer the solenoid to be JG 15mm fitting  so I can just cut the feed pipe and insert if possible.

pictures or links would be a massive help!! and where to buy!!

thanks all

greg.

Give Mike at Varitech a call on 01626 830 830.

He will tell you exactly what you need and how to wire/plumb it up.

They stock all the bits n bobs you need.

Better to get it all in one place and the right help. It isn't difficult but you will save yourself a load of hassle this way. Thta's my honest advice.

We stock a package designed for the job.  It's a 15mm John Guest pushfit 230V solenoid valve, a power relay with enclosure, and a 12V DC or 230V AC side entry float switch for £66 plus VAT.  Give me a call on 01704 541578 if you need more details.

Yours, Andrew
