Hi!!
I use a portable HWE machine & normally use an alkaline prespray sometimes with a booster. For a long time i would rinse with Alltecs Ultimate Master & always got good results. The only 'problem' i had with Ultimate Master was you couldnt exceed 65 degrees in the machine as anything above that means the self neutralizing aspect doesnt work as i am aware. So, for the last month i've been trying other additives in my HWE machine - mainly acidic rinses so i could try higher heat on some carpets.
problem is - even just over a few weeks ive noticed the heater filament has started to corrode from the acidic rinse & after calling Alltec they have confirmed that type of rinse is bad in a big way for the machine - so i will no longer be using acidic rinses!!
So - does anyone use an Ultimate Master alternative thats non corrosive, self neutralising but can take higher heat?
Also - what sort of temps do others use ? i like the heat factor for drying but worry about any problems too much of it can cause.
Thank you!!
Jase
