Rip off.

There's nothing more to say.

£13k to clean windows?
Daft.

13k, what i've read on here thats only a weeks worth of work to some  ::)

Don't forget if you have a bank loan for how ever much you need say over 3yrs and then in a years time you want to move house the mortgage company will take your payments for the loan and deduct it from your earnings, where as ionics go the lee to buy route that way it won't affect a mortgage loan. Also what ever you pay out on a system and fillters you off set against your tax anyway.
Funny seeing you on here tonight just on the birth of the new brochure, some people just think we are all plain silly. ::)

1, Like i said before i only write about what i know, i have a pro 5 system and pay monthly end of. :-*

2, My name is Anthony Butt,  before i was H20 i was B & B Property Services (not Ionics)

3, I live in Worcester & work the surrounding areas ie, " Tirley,Wyre Piddle, Pershore,Pinvin, Bishampton etc Where one day i might meet Wally.

4, I don't think you are plain silly, just ignorant & plain stupid.

Why do you make it so hard for people on here who aren't part of your brown nose gang. If you would like to meet up with me my e-mail address is waterbutt1@googlemail.com.
Again i reply to a post in a decent and helpful manor and this is what you get, i read this forum every night and as said before only post about things i know.
The sad thing is i now have no interest in helping other wc's as no one would be interested in how long my fillers last, different ways to make your system run better etc etc,

The only thing that makes feel better is i no longer have waste my time on here ;D

an example given is renault trafic with a fitted pro 6 600l reach and wash system plus bits  and two days training for £13,182.
Not bad for a turnkey business.

How is it a turn-key business?  So you've an over-priced system... where's you're customers?

Oh, you've got to go and get them!  Not exactly turn-key is it?

A turn-key business is either a prison officer or a clock winder. ;D
It's a game of three halves!

Why waste your money, you can get a perfectly good system which does exactly the same job for a fraction of the price!!!  ;)

whats the fuss about?

Ionics have products - they can charge whatever they like for their product.  Big businesses like the fact that they can call Ionics, have a system fitted with the FMVS paperwork - it keeps insurers happy, this is the main market for Ionics and Brodex, if you don't want to spend big then don't but don't ridicule someone who does.

I spent £1500 on graphics for one van - does it mean I'm an idiot?  No, I can afford to do it, I WANTED to do it and it has turned out to be a sound investment.

Yes bulldog graffix is expensive, but the thing is you get it done the same time as you get the machine. If you get it done separately once you have you system, your van is off the road for another day while you could be earning or drumming up more business.

Yes it costs more, but it could cost you less in the long run. It really depends on what you prefer to do.

Were all individuals here with different goals in life. Making or saving money is not everyones primary goal. Weather you earn 200k or 12k a year, so long as you are happy, thats all that counts.

Roger

It glows in the dark and reflects in different colours in car headlights.

The van is so well known, meaning my business is really well known.

Tosh ;D well spotted....

The thing is it doesn't matter if any of us think they are overpriced, their systems have become modern day style icons. What's the best drink? coca cola, Best car?  ferrari, most aspired to wc system? reach and wash of course....

The business model they describe works. People have spent pots on their systems and made pots of money back too. Their technology is in front of anyone else's, and the marketing is superb.

There have been enought threads on here about being 'only a window cleaner' and low self esteem issues. Many have commented that the general public don't see us in a good light, or certainly not a successfull light anyway. But this isn't so with Ionics, they are seen as a vibrant successfull company that oozes confident know how. Other people are successfull too of course, but not many can do it with their style.

well said discount.

I'm not saying to go out and buy an Ionics system, but there is a definite correlation between those who do buy an Ionics system and those who do well in business, seems to be that the ones who invest money in equipment, marketing etc are the ones who do well - probably because these are the ones who have spent say £10k and know that they need to make the money back.

just my thoughts

Spending 10k on a WFP system is not what will make you money and that`s a fact,it`s all down to the person. If i pay £200 a month for my mortgage and the bloke next door pays £1200 who`s winning,it ain`t the 1 that`s laying out the most money each month i know that,if you use your loaf your do just as well.
