Ive tried sealskin gloves, after a while they DO let the water in (well thats my experience, i guess we all have our own), but yeah socks are great!! brilliant for snowboarding too :P

People seem to get the impression neoprene is water proof, but it isnt. unless it has a coating on the inner surface. Its just to keep you warm mainly.  Luke

they are good but wear very easily, resorted to reinforcing with duck tape on my last pair, lasted a little longer ,thinking of trying glacier perfect, any body used these?

I have tried neoprene, your hands are wet but warm, as long as you don't have to take the gloves off, (which is a slow process) for paperwork, giving change etc, and after a few days, if you don't wash the gloves, they stink.

I tried the waterproof cycling gloves from Aldi, they let in at the seams-I will be returning them.

I have just ordered these gloves-Showa 490 Insulated PVC Gauntlet Blue Size 10 - Pair 9.49.
