Yes I'll be there Derek, probably on the Friday, unless too busy in which case I'll go on the Sat.

I went on Friday  last time

Nothing happening true did not make it until after lunch.

No Talks Just blueline truckmount Rotavac and Massage.
Did not even get a sausage from Barbbecue

Steve who apears to have left phoned the next week asking for feedback

I told him he said I should have come on Saturday much more happening then.

So I say to Alltec and the Team

Your Blurb is good but make sure you deliver what you say on both days, and if

Robert is only speaking 10am to 10.15pm and Paul only doing stain removal at ex time  please publish timetable in advance so we know if it is worth looking in .

Also please take notice of Survey we were asked to fill in.

I did vow not to go again but I will go Saturday this year and get there at 10am

Where Ihope to meet Fast Trackers telling us how they did it.

The German Chappie

And buy a few supplies

I went today, just got back, very informative and lots (about 50) of us there, lots of familiar faces and names.

Though there was no structured format (and the staff said that) they called us in about 11 brief talk from Robert, then on to hard floors from a chap who is big at the NCCA, who also explained that they have now recruited a PR expert to push NCCA forward a lot more, back after coffee to see Gunther explain about Solutions products etc.
Back outside at about 1 for the barbie and demo's from Gunther and his charlie pads and Chris on his hard floor cleaner and the Thermo wave TM.

Good barbie by the way.

Dont know what happened after that. I havd to leave for a quote on the way back. But if its anything like today nice weather etc its going to be busy. Oh and discounts on stuff purchased Fri and Sat.

30% on chems, 20% on accessories and 10% on machinery.

Murky.

Well i went and on Saturday place very busy. Although a lot had booked but did not turn up  It was very foggy first thing

They have a new product  called Bio Cleaner

Mike H and I were puzzled what was it for.

Having puchased some and read the label its a vegetable spray that cleans and sanitises the carpet .

What puzzled me is how it fitted in with the Solutions range  as on reading the label if you use this you will not need the Solution range.  but liked Gunther

But maybee I am confused.

Whats the deal on the Eco Carpet Care directory?

I  could not stay long enough for Roberts talk on Friday.

I had plans to go but something came up (old adage) but somethings you can't get out of.

The Eco website etc does fascinate me, I'd like to know more perhaps we'll get an idea later on in the year unless it's for fast track.

Mark, Shaun

The eco network is going to cost a minimum of £ 47 per month but as usual Robert is trying to tie people into the whole Success Coach and Anthea thing. So while £ 47 per month will get you a listing and  a link to your details, priority will be given to another cleaner in your area who might have more afiliation to Alltec in one form or another.

I questioned Robert about this and while I got some vague replies I do think that this idea is still in the concept stage and they haven't come up with all the details yet.

Me and Chris filled in the necessary forms while we were there to show that we are interested but thats as far as it goes.

Is £47 a fair price?

Do you get enough work/enquiries from it to justify £564 a year?

Perhaps previous ecocarpetcare may tell us??

Feedback i have from enquirers is that they thought it was a franchise .........two people have said this and they found me again through Ethical Junction site. They were drawn to EJ as it is 'not for profit' site so they feel the suppliers on there are there by virtue and not by how much they pay to join ::)
Jos had used my 'award' and 'Parliament' photos as part of PR/news and was promised no charge for rest of time on the site......... new owner, new rules i suppose!! .............. now the site has its own PR wagon so my little bit not needed and not sure i can warrant £47 a month to be last choice offered to enquirers.
Ethical Junction only charge £50 for the year so all people on there on level playing field ............ had 7 ECC jobs this year, compared to 11 EJ ones  :o

How Much did the Guy in Brighton Charge.

Was there a set up Fee

What was said about  £250  set up fee on Friday  Do the origional members get enrolled automatically.

But  it is a lot more than just a Web Site and Network.

Hi Guys

The Eco Care group is not for me , too much bull.

I am setting up the Green Carpet Cleaners Network this week through the Green Carpet Cleaning and Cleaners website.

The plan is to have a straightforward, no nonsence network.

There will be a small charge per annum to facilitate promoting, web building, press releases, ezine articles etc.

Shaun, you are automatically in as part of your general website deal

Cheers

Doug
