Off Site Cleaning
«

I am thinking of advertising the cleaning of suites off site at our premises, i would think this would be a great service for people inbetween moving house or decorating etc.
Does anyone offer this service and do you get many people taking you up on it?
How much extra do you charge if people wish to use this service?
Cheers Guys Mark

I reckon the add on would have to be sufficient to cope with the estra return journey, plus the manhandling of a suite out of a house which as you probably know MArk, may not be always easy and will need two of you. Possible damage to decoration to consider too.

Thanks for the advice Joe, The reason i ask is that i have been asked twice this week if i carry out this type of service, I said no as my van isnt big enough. I am however getting a new van in the near future and will be getting something with a LWB, so that i can start doing Analine re-dyes on my premises.
Cheers Mark

I don't reckon it's a big runner but if you do want to offer it make sure your insurance covers you for having your clients furniture off site

If you think about it, upholsterers take away and return all of their work, just a matter of being geared up for it.............decent sized workshop and probably a box style van, although a long wheelbase would cope.
