DAY PRICE WORRK COMMERCIAL
« on: September 09, 2008, 07:43:00 pm »
Hi Folks
I have been asked to give a day rate to clean carpets for another cleaning company, commercial work.
I have been doing mainly domestic work so I am afraid im abit green in this area.
I do employ a full time person aswell to work along side me so could someone possibly give me some advice on what I should be looking to charge?

Be careful charging by the day, charge by the Sq Mtr or Sq Ft would be my advice. They may expect you to bust a bo**ok to do a job that should take 5 days into 3 days.

Depends on what system you are using HWE or LM, maintainance cleans or corrective cleans and the amount of work you are getting.
I always offer 10% discount if payment is made in full on completion of  job, obviously you add the 10% onto the quote in the first place, these people tend to hold back payment as long as possible.
If you do decide to do work for this company you need to get things sorted regarding invoicing and payment terms cast in stone prior to doing any work.
