I use to have a 2.0 JTD and that was 900 kg. If the load weight of your vehicle turns out to be 815 Alex, then enquire if you can have the suspension leaf springs uprated to take the 900kg as that's the only real difference as far as I'm aware between the three old versions.

Short wheel base Iveco Daily. Turning circle is smaller than a Scudo and a lot cheaper on insurance. No problems parking it or scaring the holiday makers as I'm driving down the rural country roads ;D

I have these figures on my 2l but don't really understand them. ?

2330kg
3630kg
1) 1230kg
2)1300kg

Not sure exactly what the last 2 figures mean

But the first two:  Take the top one (unladen vehicle weight)  away from the next one (gross laden weight)  then you have your payload.

In your case:
3630kg minus 2330kg = 1300kg = max payload (inc. fuel and driver (chubby))
if i am wrong i will apologise but.....
i dont think a scudo has a gross weight of 3 and a half tons
at a guess i would say that 3630kg figure is gross train weight and that the 2330 kg is gross weight
i thought a scudo was about 1100kg empty
i dont think these figures add up

would be interested to have a price on that tank Alex, as I am wanting new van in next week or so, and this could open a few more options for me.

I haven't priced it up exactly but it will not be cheap! I will be allowing about £500 for its construction with a matching hose/bucket tray.

I will then be designing a custom built crash-proof, chassis-friendly frame and restraint system for it. This is much easier to do with a flat tank than an upright one. The tank will only need to be 40cm high.

Hi
Try again!
Please find copy of Dispatch Specs from What Van mag Oct 2005 for facelift model 2004 onwards.
I hope they don't mind.
The current models have totally different payloads
